Winter Training:

​

2025 Winter Training will have a predetermined week to week schedule designed by Maine Baseball Hall of Fame Coach Tony Miner and Marcus Crowell, with collaboration with all our coaches.  Winter training schedule will be given prior to the start of training.

​

2025 winter training will include: 

• We will be implementing a week-to-week plan, starting with fundamentals, and progressing each week adding new elements as we move toward the season. (bunt coverage, run downs, cutoffs, pickoffs, double plays, fly balls etc.)

• We will be building up pitchers a bit more aggressively so we can add in more live pitching/hitting in the later months of winter training.

• More fielding reps, time to take grounders, fly balls on off weeks.

• 16 Weeks 2-3 practices/week at On Plane Academy and Gorham Sports Center. (May add NE Sports hub if construction is complete.

• Working with team coach throughout winter training.

Individual Development

• One Private Lesson to use prior to start of winter training.

• Assessment to start season with written out metrics (INF Velo, EV, Velo, 40 time)

• Close out Assessment (measure metrics again)

• Breakout Sessions with Specialty Coaches (small groups) with Nic Lops, Josh Osich, Mike MacDonald, Brendan Tinsman, Drew Healy, Marcus Crowell, Tony Miner.

Additional Development Opportunities

• We will be working with a local nutrition specialist as well as a strength and conditioning coach to talk to our kids about the best tactics to get bigger/stronger/faster etc.  We hope to set up a minimum of 4 visits during training. 

• We HOPE to be able to pick up some additional space in the mill to add a weight room to be able to put some of the suggestions to work.

 

Game Schedule:

• We will be playing Select League teams as well as adding double headers against top ranked non-Select league teams.

• Each team will play a select number of tournaments.  The number of tournaments played will be determined by which team you are on.

• 25-30 games between tournaments and double headers.

• We will announce whether we plan on playing in the Select League or not prior to tryouts.

• Uniform Top with Last Name

• Uniform Pants

• Practice Jersey

• Socks, Belt, Hat

​

Tuition Cost:

• 8U-14U $2750.00

• High School and Showcase $3000.00

• Each player will be required to sell (10) $25 raffle Tickets to others or themselves ($250 total) This is part of the tuition cost.  Prizes will include Red Sox tickets, bats, gloves, and a $5,000 grand prize.

• Midnight Madness, Uniform Reveal, Alabama Trip (high school), Diamond Nation, League Play, Showcase Season, Summer Camps, Fall Ball, Winter Training.
